SOUCY TO BE INDUCTED INTO KENTUCKY AVIATION HALL OF FAME

Air show performer and long-time ICAS member Gene Soucy will be inducted into the Kentucky Aviation Hall of Fame on November 6 at a ceremony in Lexington. A Kentucky native, Soucy soloed at Louisville’s Bowman Field more than 45 years ago. He went on to become one of the greatest aerobatic competition pilots and air show performers of his generation, flying with the legendary Eagles Aerobatic Flight Team for 25 years. More recently, Soucy has been both a solo pilot and the pilot part of the Gene Soucy/Teresa Stokes wingwalking team. Soucy is a past recipient of both the Art Scholl Showmanship Award and the ICAS Sword of Excellence.
