| The most successful people in our profession are often categorized as those with strong personalities, not only pilots and performers, but show organizers and service providers. We pride ourselves on being people who can get stuff done, conquer circumstances and make great split-second decisions. Unfortunately, those same personality traits can create havoc with relationships, collaboration and how we communicate. Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is the ability to identify, use, understand and manage emotions effectively in oneself and others. In this session, we’ll look at emotional intelligence and how it plays a fundamental role in enhancing overall performance through sound decision making, impulse control, conflict negotiation, relationship management, and excellent communication skills. |
